Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic – 2008. I went to the Dominican Republic on a Habitat for Humanity project in San Francisco de Macoris. In the middle of our two week Habitat Global Village build we spent a weekend at Las Terrenas which is a fairly laid back resort town on the Samaná Peninsula, in the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic. Nothing much to say except, nice beaches, warm water, gentle sea breezes, palm trees and cold beer.
